Our Commitment to Private Jet Charter Safety Standards

At Brighton Aviation, we believe that safety is a crucial part of company culture. We seek out operators that take a proactive approach to safety through regular safety training, assessments, and a robust Safety Management Systems (SMS) program. By adhering to the strictest safety standards, Brighton Aviation is in the best position to serve our clients.

All Brighton Aviation flights will follow a strict checklist with high-quality aircraft. Each aircraft will be ARGUS or WYVERN certified. These standards are the highest in the industry. Each operator must be free of accidents involving injuries to passengers and must be free of FAA actions. All charter flights will have a minimum of two pilots.

Safety Standards for Our Charter Operators

At Brighton Aviation, we work with a network of preferred aircraft operators who have undergone a 3rd party on-site safety audit or that implement a robust SMS program through ARGUS, Wyvern and IS-BAO certifications. We ensure passenger safety by only using operators from this selective network.

Certifications and Safety Ratings by ARGUS, WYVERN, and IS-BAO

The ARGUS, WYVERN, and IS-BAO rating systems establish the high safety standards to which operator flight crews must adhere.

Aviation Research Group United States (ARGUS)

ARGUS is the most comprehensive provider of safety information, including details about an operator's historical safety ratings, current aircraft, pilot background checks, and on-site safety audits. ARGUS rates each flight as red, yellow, or green based on those criteria. All Brighton Aviation flights will only take place with crews and operators who are consistently rated as “green” by ARGUS.

WYVERN Rating System

International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO)

Developed in 2002, the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) was created to establish best practices among operators. In the decades since, it has become the accepted worldwide benchmark for aircraft safety. IS-BAO also provides a safety certification based on Safety Management Systems, regular days-long audits, and examination of personnel, training, maintenance, and more. The charter company is then awarded a Stage One, Two, or Three certification. Brighton Aviation uses the IS-BAO standard in our preferred network of operators for all non-domestic flights.
